OOC thread: clicketh~



Background: The Kingdom of Elements began when the Eight Elemental wizards gathered together to ward off the strongest evil in its time; Dark Chaos, an evil being sent to the realm by a Evil Wizard named Nemesis.

Dark Chaos was too much and thus, the Eight Elemental Wizards sacrificed themselves to bring down Dark Chaos with them. BUT, Dark Chaos had only been sealed temporarily. Nemesis had vanished off the Kingdom, never to be found again. Some say he had died along with the Wizards and some say that he had been sealed with Dark Chaos.

3000 years later, Dark Chaos is prophesies that he will be awakened again. The current King, Helios, is determined to find the Reincarnations of the Eight Elemental Wizards. The Prophecy had stated that when Dark Chaos was to be awakened again, the Eight Wizards would come again and fight.

During this time, the Kingdom was full of magic of the Elements, but none were as powerful as the Elemental Wizards. Before, those Wizards had served the King, but no one has ever seen such devastating power of the like of the Elemental Wizards.

BUT, one Elemental Wizard was already found in the form of a teenage male studying to become a Musician. It was proclaimed that if at least one Elemental Wizard was found, they would be able to find the others. It does not matter if they were elves, dwarves, humans, vampires, or half-dragon.

Now King Helios must let this young male wander around the country of La Mar to find the remaining missing Elemental Wizards, who would in their quest, would discover their full potential and discover that the world was not just about them anymore; it was about the world.

However, beyond just these groups, lay another group that works amongst the shadows. Their goal is simple: to eliminate Dark Chaos AND the Elemental Wizards. They think by taking them out they would save La Mar without them having to destroy it just like how they created La Mar in the first place. However, though their powers are not on par with the Evil ones or that of the Elemental Wizards, they are skilled in other things than magic that they use to their advantage.

Skills: His abilities range from super hearing to playing music in thin air. His ability to pick up even a slightest of sound in a five mile radius (probably more with more training) makes him the most strongest of the defense in terms of senses. His magic range from a loud, muted screaming that only some people that he chooses can hear and suffer, to soft music that he sings that can make one fall asleep. Hence, his powers and magic are basically anything that's sound, however, he's extremely sensitive to sounds and if someone screams from five miles (or more) away, he can hear. He can even hear any animal's heartbeat within one mile.

Personality: Smiles almost 24/7 and this often infuriates people. He smiles on things that often make people angry or sad or whatever emotions one would feel at a certain time. No one knows what he thinks of, what he's thinking about. He's gentle with his words and soft in his voice. He never wants to hurt anyone then he needs to, and has a tendency to be protective of his friends and loved ones. Being the first to remember everything, his mind is clouded by past emotions and the current emotions that touches him. When he sets his mind on something, no one can change his mind.

Appearance: Agenia has a lithe figure, with some muscles developed. Much like her elven heritage, she possesses the pointed ears and a slightly hazel tint to her skin complexion. Her hazel eyes changes its pupil shape from the regular circles into slits of a serpent origin. Her light blonde hair floats down over her shoulders, giving out gentle waves as they descend over her shoulders. Her face is fair, not giving her a sign of beauty or a sign of an average face, though her.

Skills: Terrana has finally tapped into the full ability of the Earth, and is able to control nearly anything. Her favourite spell is to command the trees to obey her, whether it is to attack any enemies nearby, or to defend her. She is also able to conjure huge walls of rock, though this makes her body extremely weak, and most likely to fall unconscious. Fissures are also another trick she has up her sleeve, though she rarely uses this, since this spell would put her in a near-death state, and possibly kill her. Although she has a naginata for her to use and cast some powerful Earth spells that are within it, she mainly summons vines around her wrist, and use them as whips. Like all elves, she is quick on her feet, and has an acute sense of hearing, though she depends on the vibrations of the Earth.

Personality: All in all, she is a rather stern person, nipping at people’s faults. She glowers at any being that is not an elf, and just growls at them, since she was not too pleased when humans had tried and imprison her in a castle. However, when she confronts another elf, she relaxes, since she gets on really well with her people. Although she has a cheerful personality with her own people, her decision to exclude herself from society has made her a loner, and no one has asked for her hand.

Skills: Bernkastel is a master of steel manipulation. She can not only shape and control it as she desires, but she can talk to it as well. She can control other metals, but not to the same degree, and they tend to be either unresponsive or plain rude when she talks to them. The communication is due to the half-fairy part of her, which is very in tune with spirits and the voices of things. Normally, this would be natural spirits, but her affinity with metal has shifted the ability, meaning she can speak to man-made objects instead. If there is no metal around to use, Bernkastel relies instead upon the steel infinity broach on her collar.

Personality: Due to her abilities, it is not uncommon for Bernkastel to talk to people’s weapons instead of the people themselves, which has earned her a strange reputation. She finds that steel is generally more honest to her than people are. She is a little cynical at times but not cold, in fact she enjoys company and intelligent conversation. While her half-fairy lineage makes her appear to be a very young girl, she is actually very mature and knowledgeable. This surprises many people, who don’t know about her half-breed status and so brand her a child.

Skills: Specializes in white magic. Her element maintains a constant source of light inside her and she is able to access it, cast light and manipulate it to her will. She can separate and concentrate different types of rays eg. infra, gamma, ultra violet, etc. though it requires high concentration and energy.

Personality: Seryel is somewhat of a shy girl, and doesn't likes to be the center of attention. She's very calm and kind. She's constantly cheerful and likes to look at the bright side of things.

Appearance: [x] (Just imagine everything in the tinge of red) He also has golden eyes that seemed to burn with the speckles of what appears to be red amongst his irises, like a fire crackling ready to pounce. He's also very well muscle-toned but not too much to the point of it bulging like crazy. He has a sheen of red in his dark hair, as if to reflect his fire elemental control.
Clothing: See Appearance Picture. His clothes, however, are resistant to fire so that they do not explode on contact with fire or do they catch on fire. He also wears a belt around his waist that holds most of his travel things and a two swords that hang from his hips. He wears long black pants that fans out slightly to cover over his dark leather boots that seemed to have been recently replaced but now appears to have taken a beating, despite its recent purchase. His shirt passes through his belt and down until it's around his shins. It's cut open at the sides from his waist, giving him a slightly oriental style clothing that seems to have not come from the La Mar Kingdom.

Skills: Throw fire balls from his hands. He can ignite completely in fire as it embraces him entirely and can fly while in this form. He can manipulate any fire already in use to his needs or wants. He can extinguish or even draw fire from the air, hovering it above his hands, palms or plainly just beside him. Since he's half dragon, he has some abilities of the dragons, like for example, using his body, he can morph any part of his body into part dragon, like an arm. He also has the other abilities of that of a dragon that includes seeing at night with sharp vision, and having a keen sense of smell. He's also unaffected by the cold weather should they have to venture into cold regions as his body temperature is a bit higher than the regular human and in hot weather, he prefers that he doesn't really do anything but try to cool off or let loose his excess fire power out into the open air. He also can ignite fire on his swords/blades as the blades were built for that use.

Personality: Short tempered, he's not one to mess with when he's angered. He has a fiery personality, blunt and honest in his way of his speech. He also tends to be impatient and quick about what he does; he also tends to be the bravest one. Sometimes he's impulsive, acting more on gut than anything else, heading headlong into battle. He's very caring about his friends and family and is passionate in what he loves. He can be overprotective, depending on who it is. He harbors injuries from his past about his parentage as he does not know how he came to be born.

Appearance: [x] Lyra is five feet seven inches, making her rather tall for an elf. She has the slim, pointed ears common to her species and blue, almost violet eyes. Her hair is long and sky-coloured, hanging straight down to her waist. Her skin sports a slightly bronzed, metallic sheen, thanks to her dragon grandfather, that shimmers faintly in the sun. Unlike some of her ancestors, Lyra sports neither wings nor horns nor tail, but her canines are rather pointed, a feature which she tends to hide to avoid being accused of vampiric origins.
Clothing: [x] Lyra favours loose robes and cloaks, and is usually seen in a patterned sleeveless tunic of white and blue. Her hair is often tied in leather bands or cloth ribbons, and her feet are shod in shin-high boots of soft white leather. With her she carries a small bow and a quiver of arrows, as well as a belt knife tucked in a cloth band around her waist.
Skills: Being able to manipulate all forms of water, Lyra’s powers include the ability to create various storms, hurl balls of ice, heal minor wounds, walk across water, and even summon water elementals. The more powerful the magic she uses, summoning a powerful storm being an example, the more drained and tired she becomes. Thanks to her bronze dragon grandfather, Lyra has a resistance to lightning, though she cannot unleash it upon foes as true dragons can. She can breathe water as she would air, and can swim with alacrity, even when not summoning a current to help her on her way. Every once in a while she can transform into an animal, though only creatures of her own size or smaller, and nothing humanoid in nature. Her store of dragon magic is separate from her water magic, and she can use her abilities even when out of water spells. Like all elves, her hearing and eyesight is excellent, and she can also see in complete darkness thanks to her dragon blood.
Personality: Lyra was raised always to be respectful and just, and she follows these guidelines admirably. Though sometimes passionate and rash, she usually thinks things through before she acts, and is calm unless seriously provoked. Lyra values kindness towards animals highly, and cruelty is one of the few things that can spark her wrath. She is social and warm-hearted with those she trusts, and wary but polite with those she does not. She likes to be outdoors more than anything, and enjoys a good storm just as much as a fair day.

Skills: She has the ability to step on one's shadow and do whatever she pleases once she gets a hold of that one's shadow. She can also make herself completely disappear in the dark, can blind a person in darkness, and can conjure a demon from pure darkness that is immune to physical attacks and is able to fight and defend the Wizards. Her ultimate attack is that she can create a Black Hole, once a week, and suck in all of her enemies.

Personality: Mai is impassive, not regularly showing any feelings or emotions. She's calm and composed which often gains her respect for not panicking when under pressure. She often views things in a dark and negative manner, never enjoying the frivolities of life. She takes life as it comes to her, never arguing or opposing it. Her voice is cold but gentle, giving people chills when they hear her speak. Mai is generally quiet and doesn't speak unless spoken to or has a true purpose to do so. She remains detached from the world and others since she cannot afford to be attached to such things, the fear of losing what she loves would be painful.

Personality: He is easygoing, cheerful and relaxed. Though his anger is not easily roused, he is definitely someone to be feared when he decides to throw a fit. Seyren likes to take things in his stride and nothing seems to be able to suprise him at all. Either good or bad, he would often smile and move on. As a result, no one really knows how he feels or what goes on in his mind. He prefers to keep a low profile and if need be, help others in the dark.

Appearance: [x] Gwen is pale-skinned and has long silver-blond hair. Her eyes are a blue-green colour, like ocean depths or rich emeralds. She has a tall, willowy figure and long slender limbs, and her skin is pale and unblemished. Her parents were quite dismayed at her un-princess-like height, as she is tall enough to look most men she meets in the eye. Her body is toned and strong, as she has a very un-princess-like affinity for swordplay. As a result her movements are lithe and graceful, and her profile is confident. Gwen has a strong, musical voice that can be sweet and light. It can also be strong as steel and sharp as razors.
Clothing: [x] Gwendolyn believes in dressing for her station, and has no qualms about digging deep into the royal treasuries to produce clothes that are both beautiful and serviceable. She favours long, sweeping overcoats and short sleeves, preferring to cover her limbs with high stockings, boots and gloves. She shuns the typical circlet of royalty and instead dons a light jewelled headpiece. Favouring strong, bold colours, Gwen chooses royal blues, reds, blacks, and purples over the pastel colours her lady friends wear. All her clothing is accented with rich contrasting colour schemes, and they are usually threaded with silver and gold.

At her hip hangs an ornate scabbard, where her favourite sword lies when not in use. Crafted at royal order of the princess herself, the sword, which she calls Sylviera, is a long sword of rare beauty and quality. The balance of this razor-sharp weapon is perfect, and it is crafted of the strongest and rarest metals.

Skills: Gwendolyn is a skilled swordsperson, the result of impatience with the endless politics of everyday castle life. She was so bored, in fact, with the life of a princess that she dabbled in all sorts of un-princess-like things. As well as being skilled with swords, Gwendolyn has recently begun learning magic from the castle sorcerer. As a beginner mage, she knows only the most basic of spells, such as spells for creating light, illusions, and sound. Her sword can do spells when called upon; it warns her when danger is near, is enchanted for increased speed, and grants her immunity to poisons as long as she is touching it. As is typical for a magical sword of power, Sylviera cannot be wielded by anyone other than her owner. Anyone who touches the sword receives a painful shock: if that person is evil, the result is death. One skill that her parents did approve of was healing. Gwendolyn was encouraged to spend her time at the palace temples learning healing magic from the priestesses there. Her skills at healing are exceptional, and the high priestess says that she has a natural talent for it.

Personality: Gwendolyn is an intelligent and determined young woman, and can be extremely stubborn. Her mind is cunning and sharp, and she is resourceful when she needs to be. Used to getting what she wants, Gwendolyn is used to ordering others around and handles power well. She is noble and believes in what is right, but also believes in serving herself first. She is always up for a challenge, and has a strong sense of pride that compels her to be the best in everything. Sometimes impatient, Gwen is at her best when she can be doing something productive. Though her assertive and cunning nature lends itself well to politics, her lack of interest and impatience cause her not to excel in that area.

Skills: He is as strong as the Wizards combined, but slightly less then them. He has the powers of what appears to be a Demon but is unknown. He excels in close range combat with his fists, but is as good with his Dark Magic from the distance. He knows such a wide variety of Dark Magic, that he's even gone into studying of the Forbidden Dark Magic.

Personality: Psycho-pathic and will do anything he can do to get to his goals, such as summoning Dark Chaos. He smiles when he kills someone and enjoys it. He has no mercy for humans, and even less for the Wizards. He likes to toy with his enemies and play mind games with them, but is rare. His expressions are vivid and most of the time, he prefers to smile his insane smile when he does his kills and his planning.

Skills: Excels in runic magic and alchemy. Though he rarely takes part in direct combat, he is a flexible fighter.

Personality: Believed to be a vampire who lived through hundreds of years, his vampiric abilities has developed to an entirely new level. Though some say he modified had his own body. He cares for nothing but his homunculus creations and treats the world as a playground. Solin doesn't like to take orders and prefers an exchange for his services. A gentle father only to his creations, he is vicious and cunning, cold and indifferent to others. However, if one gains his favour, he can be cordial and perhaps even reliable.

Clothing: Let's go with; Dressed from head to toe in black, Mathias is clothed in a black tunic hemmed in silver, black breeches tucked into knee-high black leather boots, black gloves that extend to his elbows and a cloak of - you guessed it, black, thrown about his shoulders.

Skills: (resisting!) While proficient in basic spells (defensive/offensive fire, basic shielding, some more simple illusionary techniques) Mathias's forte lays in mind-control and manipulation through words and magic. He has the ability to assert his control over thousands of weak-minded men at a time.

Personality: Perhaps one of the most fcked up men ever to exist, Mathias Denarys is completely convinced of the inherent evil of mankind. He condemns all sentient life, judging it to be dirty and sullied (his own life included) and thereby derives a sadistic pleasure in causing or witnessing the pain of others. He dedicates his life and service to Lord Nemesis, for nobody else in this plane of existence has the power or the resolution to absolve life of its sin through the punishment of death.

Mathias's dark, passionate misanthropic nature is veiled by a dry sense of humor and biting sarcasm. Though he possesses the ability to be courteously mocking, he much prefers to be crude and needling with his words and demeanor. Needless to say, Mathias is not your best friend.

Clothing: Within the shadows of his former self, Gradestra wears nothing more than the armour that he was buried with. His brass armour is slightly corroded from the sands of time, but it is able to keep his fragile body protected from most melee weapons. Between the plates of the armour are shredded pieces of black cloth, with the majority of the ghoulish cloth forming a slowly rotting cape. The brass helmet that rests on his head allows white hair to flow down onto his shoulders and the yellow aura of his damned soul to peer through his christened tomb.

Skills:
His ability in the Forbidden Dark magic arts is deadly to his foes. With his former self being a necromancer, he is able to summon undead. (He can summon about 3-4 undead without strain. 6 would have to be the maximum if he able to keep his magical reserve.) With an array of powerful dark spells, ranging from summoning shadow fiends to a shadowy mantle, he is adept arcane battles. With his ancient body, these spells have a degree of strain on his soul, though it’s nothing to serious to distract him. The spell that gives him the most strain is his signature spell, Void of Chaos, where he shrouds his enemies in a veil of darkness and summoning their worst fears to attack them.
He also has a near-infinite amount of dark magic that resides in his soul, which is the most vital asset that his allies have. They can use the powerful reserve when their own reserve is spent, whether it’s to replenish their own power or to surprise their enemies with another spell. This, however, is sometimes brought down quickly, which is why he only allows two or three of his allies to use it.

Personality:
Cold, calculated and vicious are the words that describe the Wraith. Though he is ferocious to his enemies, it is very common for him to snap at his own allies. With his summoning, he only obeys two people: Dark Chaos and Nemesis. Anyone else giving him orders will either be ignored or make him retort in anger. Nothing in the world would be a match for an angered lich, especially if it was Gradestra, who would do anything to kill the offender.

Appearance: With bright, ever-twinkling green eyes and a mess of white hair, nobody would ever suspect the fairly young-looking, cheerful Emry Conte of being a dark wizard. Slender and slight, Emry would never win in straight up hand-to-hand-only fight unless he cheated - which he would - and he's been laughed at when he tries to pick up a normal sword and fight with it.
Clothing: Emry likes to try to keep inconspicuous with tan leggings, well-worn dark brown leather boots, and a similarly colored plain, knee-length tunic. A belt is cinched around his waist, two belt pouches attached to it - and who knows what are in there.
