Posted November 7, 2012 Love the adult sprites. I like the males a tiny bit more than the females though. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 Lurker X Hellfire definitely looks nice to me. The female bothers me a little. I think it's the forelimbs/tail. But that's just me, an I do like her. I just like him more. Plus, I had 4 CB SWs females an 3 males. I wanted to reverse that this year. 4 CB males and 3 CB females. Balance! I caught 5 eggs, one is already frozen in S1, two are gonna be frozen in S2 (male and female) and two are gonna grow up (male and female). That is balance for me Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 love the critters now i have more holidays to breed with my rares. just hope they gender correctly. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 Has JOTB made any posts yet regarding them? I also would love to see the artists alt colours of the cave lurkers too if they have them. But I'm honestly more curious about inspiration and other information about the breed. Anyway my first one grows up tonight, the other five grow up tomorrow. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 Love these. A Sungsong mate would be magical. What a spectacular Halloween here. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 *snuggles my little cave lurkers* They're adorable! I can't wait until they grow up! I'm not sure what i'll name them, though. I also left the gendering to chance, so I guess i'll see how that turns out. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 Thanks for the ideas about mating. I probably go for Tan Ridgewing x Lurker: http://www.coup-detat.info/NDER/Lineage.ph...en=1&mate=Delay Daydream x Lurker: http://www.coup-detat.info/NDER/Lineage.ph...en=1&mate=Delay That is, if it is possible.... Posted November 7, 2012 Ooooh wow, the adults look wonderfully creepy, and the description fits perfectly. And I laughed out loud when I read the last sentence about their mating call. Awesome. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 I still think they're beautifully ugly! They'll certainly give a few nightmares when looking for a mate - all good chilling stuff! Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 3 of mine have gendered, now how to figure out to get the rest to gender too to make sure I have an even amount of females and males. Adults are awesome Thanks to everyone involved. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 I just use my Pinks to insure an even gendering... That way I have at least one of each gender... Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) Drat! Missed my first Halloween event due to our power being out. Go figure LOL Silly thing is although I live in Canada and although we had much less wind in our area, it still managed to be quite damaging for us. You see, we live out in the country and our generator was knocked out for several days (a large tree got blown over and crunched it). We also found that the electrical tower for us (and the few other neighbouring farms here) had been blown down and we were out of power for several more days while the city took their time getting it rebuilt LOL! For a farm this is usually bad news. Thankfully we didn't lose much more than a bunch of milk, some cheese, and a few dozen eggs that were still stored in the barn's cold room... our animals were all fine Let's hope I can catch the upcoming Christmas event... considering that the end of the world is supposed to happen on the 21st of December ROFL! EDIT: A huge thank you to Immaling (and Duncan) for the lovely pair of hatchlings! HUGS! Edited November 7, 2012 by Krynne Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 Let's hope I can catch the upcoming Christmas event... considering that the end of the world is supposed to happen on the 21st of December ROFL! That's right! We should get a more sinister Christmas dragon this year. On-topic...the two hatchlings I caught in the AP hit 1337 UVs a few minutes from each other. One's male, one's female, and both are fogged. They'll make a pretty leet pair next year! Share this post Link to post
Posted November 7, 2012 Happy (super belated) Halloween - I hope you guys like them, and am glad if you do (or if you just think they're creepy). Thank you! And thanks TJ! They're based off the idea of the boogeyman, things that go bump in the night, monsters in your closest, etc. Adults get to be about the size of a small horse, so unfortunately they're a bit too big to fit under your bed. They're usually foul-tempered and often have bad breath. Share this post Link to post

Posted November 7, 2012 ...based off the idea of the boogeyman, things that go bump in the night, monsters in your closest, etc... I think that this single part just sums them up perfectly. Going to now blame these guys for the random noises I hear at night (Considering the size of them - and the size of my house - it's little wonder) Awesome job Share this post Link to post

No need to be scared of those noises, now that we know it's just dragons! I have 5 s1 hatchlings that I'm trying to push to s2 so I can freeze one. Share this post Link to post
