Nate went back to fiddling with his scorpion. He tested the barb on its tail against his finger. "Ow!" he cried as blood welled up on his fingertip. The barb had barely brushed his finger.

Riley walked into the house after kat. He didn't quite get everyone's fear of....whatever it was that they were afraid of, but they definitly didn't trust kat. Even Noah, who had been saved by her, didn't seem to trust her. He listened to the short exchange between kat and the man. "you know the language? What is it?" he asked the man. Riley was feeling pretty upbeat, ever since he had figured out the trick with the book. |

James(the man) looked at Riley, "The language doesn't have a name..." Kat grabbed a pen and tossed it to James, "Write us a way out of the book" James shrugged, "I'll try." He caught the pen and set the piece of paper on a table. |

Lily woke up in a strange place, the middle of the street. "where am I? Oh wait, ohmygosh! I think I'm in that book!" she said out loud. Someone walked past her and rolled his eyes, "you think?" he chuckled and walked away. Lily, in panic mode looked around and saw emme. She walked over to her, trying to stay calm. " please, I'm not supposed to be here, how do I get out?" she asked emme.

James wrote in another language. For a few minutes, nothing happened. Finally, everything started to lightly shake. The shaking got a little violent after a few moments.
