The DC Hunger Games!
(The Dragon Friendly Version)

Each year the reaping takes place, where the Capital calls upon one male and one female to be randomly picked from each district, to compete in The Hunger Games.
A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which "Tributes" must fight with one another, against the odds, until one survivor remains.

The DC Hunger Games requires you to pick 2 tributes from 8 DC Districts, and breed them in an 'Even Gen' until only one remains!

Guidelines:

*Picking your Tributes:

1) Start with ANY 16 different CB breedable dragons. These represent each individual tribute.
2) Make 8 pairings out your chosen 16. A male and female for each District. (Refrain from pairing dragons that produce breeds like Geode, Two Finned Bluna, & Shallow Water)

*Name them using the below naming guide:

1) Starting pairs can be given any name, but must contain their ‘district’. It can be written as ‘District One’ or as ‘D1, D2, D3’ and so on.
2) The name given to the CB breed must follow it through the generations. The idea is that the breed represents the same ‘Tribute’, so for each generation it should carry the same name. It does NOT have to follow the same gender tho.
3) For each generation after, you must include the ‘round number’ by including in the name one of the below variations:

2nd, 3rd, 4th.
II, III, IV.
Second, Third, Forth.

Yes the first round will be 'distric on distric' - this is to see who out of that distric goes through to the Games, think of it as a friendly trial. I wanted to keep the idea that 'one boy & one girl' are picked. Plus it keeps it simple and the linage looking tidy!
Continue to breed, taking the first egg given (unless it genders incorrect or refuses to breed, ect), until a single breed is left (5th gen), which will be your Victor.

* Naming your victor:

1) Your Victor must contain within its name either:

'MockingJay' or a variation of 'DC Hunger Games Victor' (examples: 'Victor' or 'HG Victor' is ok).

2) As this is your Victor (5th gen), the name does not have to contain the District or round number, but must contain its original 'Tribute' name somewhere with it.

* Keeping us updated:

2) For the fic writers out there - You are also welcome to write short stories about your DC Hunger Games Tributes to share with us.

* The DC Quarter Quell: (Not mandatory)

This is where Victors are required to battle it out in a 'final' Hunger Games. For those wishing to participate in the DC Quarter Quell, it will involve breeding siblings of your Victor to swap so each Gamesmaker can battle out the Victors till one is left - 'The Victor of Victors!'

Feel free to announce your progress, but this will not be apart of the DC Hunger Games as it seems to be to complicated for some people LOL

i actually just got in from seeing the movie. i haven't read the books so didn't know much about it except for the trailers. it was a pretty good movie and now i have to read the books to see what happens. i think i'll join this lineage, sounds like fun.
