Linked Scales Hatchery Haven

Linked Scales is a self-serve dragon cave-based website, featuring a hatchery, nursery, and Intensive Care Unit for sick and injured dragons. It has reopened after it's previous host crashed and did not regain stability, and we have moved to a more suitable location.

The process through which you add your eggs and hatchlings to Linked Scales is fairly simple - by locating the relative links and entering the egg code. Immediately, your dragon is in our database and displayed in the nursery screen at the bottom. It always shows 30 Random Entries so that everyone's eggs have an equal chance to be viewed.

In the future, LS hopes to be the host of several fun contests, competitions, and have its own community center. However for now, as it is just starting off again, we want to make sure that the basis of the site is stable.

Updates
(07/28/11) - I wanted to post a reminder that when you are entering your dragon code, it needs to be the ENTIRE HTML CODE, not just the 4 or 5 letters.

(07/26/11) - Linked Scales Hatchery Haven has just reopened. All parts of the site are open and running. I apologize dearly to anyone that was using the old Linked Scales at the time that it's old server broke down!

If an egg hatches, is the hatchling removed from the site or is it moved to the hatchling section or does it just stay in the egg section?

Currently it gets deleted, however I'm strongly considering putting eggs and hatchlings all in one section.

At one point I thought the site had a listing of the number of users currently viewing the eggs/hatchies but I don't see it anymore. Am I just not seeing it?

The code glitched so I had to take it down, but it's back up now. =)

I just tried it out for the first time and I'm happy since we lost so many fansites...

I'm back, and the site is running well as usual.

I don't know about anyone else, but my anti-virus software just labeled your fansite as unsafe and stopped me from going to it. Might want to check that out.

=/ My computer accepts the site fine. It's coded straight from scratch so I'm not sure what that could be, and all entries into the database are carefully monitored.

Hey everybody, just a quick reminder. When you add your dragons to Linked Scales, please use the HTML code found on your dragon's code page. Please do not use the BB image code, view url, or 5-character code, as these will not add your dragon to the site. Thanks!

Love the site. Do you think some time in the future that maybe the site could list the number of eggs/hatchies currently on the site?

I love this site and i think its over looked by many members. I do not know how it works but, I get the most even views and UV's for my dragons here. I hope this site will be around for a long time.
