What are red dinos worth :/

What are cb swallowtail, cb dayglory/nightglory egg and Cb pink worth for?

I'm not too sure about the value of this egg? Mostly because I personally adore glories no matter the lineage, so I'm much too biased to figure out what's a fair trade.

What would this tinsel be worth: Lineage??

I would trade a common for it because Day/Night Glory breeding is limited so that's one of two options

Personally I love it Some people prefer low generation tinsels so they may not like it. I think you could easily get a unbreedables and one (or two, depending on the generations) of the trio for it!

Is a CB stripe worth more or less than a CB black atm?
Or are they about equal?

about the same as any Dinoe imo, but they do seem to be the type the cave likes to spit out the most imo.

you should be able to Dino swap or get a semi-rare for it (Vine, Nebula) or a medium gen Metal/Tinsel

the Swallow tail and Glories are worth a common imo, made a semi-rare common like an Ember or Moonstone. like snowy said, the value for the Glroies is less because its a drake and both are easy to obtain imo.

the Pink is worth a BSA swap with a Red or an uncommon. i think the highest you coul get for it would be a Vine or a Nebula. there not easy to catch, but their not ultra hard to catch either

a drake swap should be easy enough if theres anothe breeder listing at the same time as you. other than that, you should be able to get any of the ultra common dragons listed in want list in your siggie (ie: Mints, Greys, Coastals, ect)

imo their equal. you shoudl be abel to get a Stripe easily if your offering a Black, but getting a Black for a stripe right now might take a while imo as the Blacks have become harder to snag it he caves since the Alt fiasco

What would a sibling of this be worth?

I don't really rate it that much since there's no pattern, theme or special lineage, tbh. The only thing it has going for it is that it's EG.
I would only trade an equal gen common for it, personally. idk about anyone else.

They're equal to me. But I usually won't trade either one for the other as I have similar numbers of both and it would distort the balance. :/

What would, say, seven CB low-time-ish red hatchlings be worth?

I've been playing with the idea of hatching a bunch and offering all seven for one super good dragon, but I'm not sure if it'd work.

Hatchlings command a good price. I think those would easily command a rare like a cb black, cb stripe, 2nd gen metal.... probably need a second opinion.

What is a CB silver (ungendered, uninfluenced hatchling) worth? I've gotten some trade offers, but I am still unsure which one to accept. Some offers I've got are multiple 4th gen tinsels, a 3rd gen gold tinsel, 3rd gen silver tinsel, 3rd gen bronze tinsel, and a lot of CB Stripes. None of the tinsels are new lines. I'm really wanting a 3rd gen tinsel of ANY color from a new line, but it appears CB silvers aren't worth that.

Are any of the tinsel offers from newish/more rare combinations?
If so I think I would go for that.
Sometimes when I trade I tend to look at what the eggs I could breed would be worth, like "would the 2nd gen silver I bred be worth more in trade than the fourth gen tinsel I could breed?"
I probably wouldn't trade for stripes unless it was for quite a few, or unless I just really wanted them for my scroll, but maybe that's just me.

I got my 3rd gen from a new tinsel for a 3rd gen old tinsel.
CB silvers aren't particularly worth any of them... so I'd personally keep it even if you get offered a 3rd gen new tinsel.

Well, when it comes to most eggs, hatchlings can make better trades, but when you get to rares, they often lessen the value a bit because people can't really replace an incorrectly gendered metallic very easily.

It may just be me, but I probably wouldn't trade most new Tin 3rd gens for it, just because they're still so rare that it's the kind of egg that you could put on the market and ask for offers and see what you'll get (and at this point it would probably be some fairly good things). Of course, it's not unheard of for someone to offer an IOU if that's what they need, I just think that the new Tins haven't circulated enough for the deal you're waiting for to come easily (although there are a few lines from the new Tins that might have - I believe a Vine and a SW line might have).

If the old lines aren't super-common then 3rd gens for those might be worth it. For instance, Anzu lines still command a high market value, and a 3rd gen from him might be well worth a Silver.

As for Stripes, IMO, their ratios are changing along with many of the other breeds in the recent shift. I've seen them all over the cave lately. If you can catch Silvers, I would think that a day spent hunting in the Forest or Jungle would load you up with them. I actually had to force myself to stop reflex clicking them the other day because they were going to lock me. Now, that may revert, and people who need lots of Stripes might want to get them while they're plentiful, regardless of cost, but I'd urge people to go test the waters in those biomes before making any Stripe trades.

On a sidenote to traders in general - it looks like the alts are switching from sitting to curled. Before you give an arm and a leg for a curled, wait a week or two and see if they're swamping the market. This initial shift is usually where people pay hugely for them and end up watching as they become the dominant alt form soon after.

imo, 2 CB reds should be worth 2-3 CB Stripes/Blacks, a 3G or 2G Tinsel depending on the originating Tinsel and either a 2G Metallic or CB Metallic is you can offer to someone selling one. for the CB Metal, you might have to IOU more though


but i also place a high value on Reds currently, as their BSA is something i find i use a lot and i don't have enough of them. so i might be a bit biased in this. i'd happily IOU 3 Stripes for 7 Red hatchies (though i'd want 8, for equal ratios of Male/Female cause i'm OCD like that)

any CB Metal is worth mutliple stripes/blacks (4 or 5 imo), a 2G Tinsel only from a new prize dragon or rare pairing, or a CB metal swap.

the offers your getting seem more along the lines of a 2G Silver imo and personally i wouldn't trade the Silver away for anything less than a Metal swap or 2G new or rarish Tinsel. like Sakuble said, if you can catch a Silver int eh cave (and easily enough to where your trading it away) you can catch pretty much anything else *nods*

I've got a second gen Alt Vine from a CB Vine and CB Black, what is a reasonable request to trade? I've got all the Alt Vines I want, and haven't been in the market so I have no clue what they go for.

if it was PB, it would hold more value, but you should be able to get atleast a common egg. i'd ask for a 2G swap of a Vine or semi-common.

you could also look in the gifting threads if no one bites and you really don't want it, i'm sure theres a few people who want a nice lineaged low gen alt vine for their scrolls
