I would like to find my Active Transfers in the same place on the page each time I go to it. I realize it's my pet peeve but when I get used to having Active Transfers or Change Sort Order in the 3rd place down on the right hand side, I'd like them to stay there. Having the older activities moved to put new ones in a certain order is annoying. If there could be a "newest activities" block at the top would be great, but it's discouraging to have to hunt through all the Account links to find the ones I use most.

I try not to mess things up too much, but I also don't want to bury more important links (say, active transfers) under less important ones (such as the holiday events).

Could the new "Advertisement Removal Subscription" be moved lower?

I understand you want it to be noticeable, especially for those not active on the forums, but I don't see anyone needing to use that more than once a month, whereas I use the "Change Sort Order" on average every two days and I'll check the "Active Transfer" link about once an hour when I have trades up.

Actually those two links are the only ones on that page that I use on a regular basis. tongue.gif

Agreed! I have almost clicked the wrong link several times today already, needing the active transfers link. We are creatures of habit here and I do think the most-used ones should stay in the same place when others are added. Moving them to an entirely different place on the page is pretty disruptive. wink.gif

Eh, I get used to the change pretty quickly, so I don't think it's too big of a deal. If you click the wrong one, just go back and click the right one. =p

The only links I use are account settings [to hide and unhide] and active transfers. I access sort through the URL bar.

It would be nice for active transfers to be more prominent. I'm on a netbook and it's about to fall off the page that I can view without scrolling.

If you bookmark the links, you won't have to go through your account page. I have both customsorts bookmarked - it's much more convenient.

I appreciate everything that's been said (and done). It all makes good sense.

Just a suggestion:
TJ, could you put a "Most Recent Additions" or "Most Used" box or table at the top? That way, the ones we need most can be left in order, or it could highlight the nice new stuff.

I... didn't even realize links shuffled around O____o
Wouldn't it make more sense to lock them all in place and just make the permanent order one that keeps the less important links on the bottom? I've never seen a site that relocates standard use links based on activity and honestly it seems like a rather chaotic system. Just imagine your desktop icons shuffling about based on which you last accessed... I'd be eternally lost!

I'm amazed by this thread. Actually I went to my scroll (I've been away) before coming here... I did a load of stuff and then came over here afterwards. I have to say that I didn't even NOTICE the order of the links had changed; I just looked for and clicked the options I wanted to use....

I must be awfully stupid.... xd.png But if I can hack it, at 67 years old, surely all you young things....

I misclicked at first because I went for the location, not the name. I guess it depends on what you do to find the link.

I was tempted to suggest something similar to this when I posted earlier, but was too tired to try. x3
I would support this, though. :3
