Azmodius was in the middle of a throng of converted dragons, marching towards a group of rebels that had been spotted just outside Death's Pass. Since he and Fidelria had sent the message, he'd managed to stay under the radar. A dragon next to him snarled eagerly, straining against the others as though he couldn't wait to tear them apart. The ember added his own growl to convince them, then rose his head up over the crowd to see where they were. All at once the converts exploded out of the pass, charging the resistance dragons. The two forces clashed and began battle. As soon as no one was looking, Azmodius slipped away from battle and ran into a crevice, following the narrow path until it opened up again and he could fly without being seen. Wings beating, he gained altitude as his eyes scanned the rebels. He was looking in particular for Magnus, provided he had gotten away alive. Landing on a ledge, he peered down at the mob of fighting dragons and tried to discern which one was Magnus, if any were. Unknowingly he had landed on a ledge not far from Magnus' cave.

((You probably knew why then forgot when you headdesked twice. Were time skipping to catch up with Sen and Co., who are already ahead. The skip provides Vrashay's army with a battle, Fidelria's message has been sent, and now all the characters are on the same page. Hope that wasn't confusing))

(Still lost. All I know (And all my character knows) is that Robby is following Sen and a dragon to something or somewhere.)

Landing on a ledge, he peered down at the mob of fighting dragons and tried to discern which one was Magnus, if any were. Unknowingly he had landed on a ledge not far from Magnus' cave.

Vrashay looked at the sound of battle again. He looked at a whip tail "Signal groups 2 and 3 to hit the CO's from the sides." he ordered and the whip tail took off. Seemed reinforcements had been sent but now where directly under attack. "Group one with me. Lets put these maggots to rest." he growled then lead his group and joined the fighting attacking the CO group from behind. His groups where in the forest and had watched this rather loud group of CO's go into the pass then attack another group of dragons from the looks of it.

Crusher suddenly looked to see another fight happening. He crouched as one of the CO's seemed to sneak off from the group back into the pass where they seemed to have been hiding. He watched it then waited blending in the the dead and bleached land scape above the pass. His bone platting perfect for that. He watched waiting for a perfect time to strike.

Crusher looked at Magnus then back to the over looking land "I'm.... preparing my self I guess you could say. We've entered the war now as well, we have remained out side it for so long. I'm a bit worried for my fellow clan mates." he explained "Never know who may follow us back home. I'm sure we cover our tracks well enough though." he said half to him self. "Hows your wing holding up?" he asked changing the subject.

Magnus listened as Crusher explained. So they were now having a war with the converts, as the group in the pass had. It seems they had escaped, barely, and were probably now somewhere in the forest. He shifted his wings as Crusher changed the subject.

'It's better than it was. Still can't fly, it may be weeks before that happens.'

Magnus suddenly heard the sounds of another battle. Running forward so he had a better look at the pass, where the sounds were coming from, he saw a group of converts, who must have hidden in the pass, attacking the resistance group. Or was it a second one, sent to aid the first? He glanced at Crusher, who seemed to have mysteriously disappeared. Turning away, Magnus missed one of the converts breaking away from the battle, and he started to run back towards the cave. If Crusher's group were fighting, it would seem selfish if he didn't join. He picked up speed, running and occasionally jumping into the air and flying before landing again. He soon reached the edge of a cliff, where his cave was situated. Crusher's group had provided him with his own small cave, complete with a safe way to climb to flat land. He dropped down over the edge, landing at the entrance to his cave. He looked down at the mob fighting below. He turned to head into his cave, but saw something out the corner of his eye. He turned back and looked again; a dragon was on the ledge, very close to his cave! Magnus hissed and bared his teeth in self-defence, then stopped. He recognized this dragon!

'Azmodius...?'

More of Crusher's group seemed to just appaer from the bones of the place. They dropped down but remained behind rocks and shrubs snatching CO stragglers and killing them before much could be done. They stayed out of the fighting though.

One rebel dragons, a stone type, threw a CO electric into a bush then the sound of a neck being broken a screech was heard then the head of the CO flopped into site. A trickle of blood ran out of its mouth as its head was twisted into a no natural position. The Stone backed up frightened. Where there new creatures there enemy had made?

A marrow remained where he was and noticed the head of his prey now in sight. He pulled it in to keep it out of sight. Though he made a mental note, never bite an eletric type dragon, they zap something bad. He was a bit twitchy now but still under control waiting for the next unsuspecting CO to get thrown or run here.

Azmodius squinted harder, leaning out over the ledge to try and glimpse what he was looming for. His name being said behind him caused the ember dragon to freeze, then turn around slowly. The tension in his muscles relaxed when he saw it was Magnus. "You made it out alive!" He exclaimed, then shuffled his paws. He didn't want to make it sound like the dragon was incapable of doing so. "I came to see if you'd made it, and...." His sentence died down as a slight movement behind Magnus caught his eye. "Were being watched," he said in a low voice. Of course, it was only Crusher, though this was not common knowledge to Azmodius. Fearing a fight, he backed away until he felt his back foot scrabble on the end of the ledge.

Magnus quickly looked behind himself, and saw it was only Crusher, not a convert. He turned back to Azmodius.

'It's okay...this is Crusher, the leader of the small group here. They are also against the converts.' He turned to Crusher. 'Crusher...this is Azmodius...' He turned back to Azmodius. 'So you were...unconverted?' He felt a slight chill run down his spine. How had he managed to guess so correctly?

Crusher had moved into Magnus's cave to make sure he was going to be safe. Then the other dragon came. It spotted him and started to back up and he got up to attack but Magnus seemed to be talking with him now. He narrowed his eye's and came up along side Magnus as he was introduced. He tilted his head to the side at the comment of this one being a unconverted.

The fight was still going and the body's where starting to gather. With the mersonary group picking off CO's the rebels where winning slowly.

Azmodius didn't quite relax, but he came forward from the ledge. "Amazing, isn't it?" He commented. "I didn't know it was possible to un-convert someone- but it is." He eyed Crusher warily, not liking the look he was receiving. "Are you a part of the Resistance then? We sent word.. But I didn't think help would come so quickly." Azmodius glanced down outside the pass, observing the skirmish. Looking back up, he noticed Magnus was not as tattered as he had been when they met. "I assume you've been healing?" He asked.

Crusher shook his head "Where neither resistance or the power hungry GoN's forces. Where you could say a group of our own." he said not going into detail as he did not trust Azmodius what so ever. He had heard rumers of CO's becoming unconverted but never seen it happen. "So, what are your fake comrades going to think though when they notice your absents?" he asked eye's still narrowed. He looked at Magnus briefly when Magnus was asked if he was healing. Crusher him self was thinking Azmodius was a CO playing the pretend game to infiltrate or something.

Vrashay chomped down on a CO daydreams neck snapping it. The converted dragons numbers where lowering now below the rebels numbers. The 3 prong attack had worked, though what could explain the frightening sound of breaking bones when a CO was tossed away from the fight. Sometimes they would just enter the fray again but also others would vanish behind a rock or bush or even tree and then the sickening sound of a neck being snapped some how and the CO would not return. Only happened out side the main fray. He growled to him self. These.... assassins where here. But at the same time he could not see them.

Magnus shot Crusher a look that meant: 'I trust him. Don't attack him.' Then he turned his attention back to Azmodius. 'Yes, my wing is healing now. It should be completely healed in about a week or two. And don't worry about Crusher, he is just a bit on edge at the moment, what with all that going on.' He guestured down at the war below them.

As Robby came up to them Leucetius grew terribly grave and his brow furrowed deeply. "What I have to say, I am telling you because Sen, I trust you and you seem to trust your companion here." Leucetius eyed Robby for a moment before turning to look at the cold face of the rock walls around them. "There's been news from her."

Sen stiffened considerably, her expression was impossible to read and was too complicated for words all at once. This was serious....

Leucetius wasn't sure that someone so young as Robby would understand so he added on after a brief moment of silence. "She, the Goddess of Light, our Lady Isthstaria, has finally begun operations. Enchantasia will be a holy and grand place once again and the proof that these are going as planned is by how quickly this message made it to use...considering the infinite number of obstacles one must pass to get from Gaevor's Territory to here unharmed. Allies from secret place have begun to reveal them selves and a dragon from the earlier party sent through Death Day's Pass has told us of a frontal war that has begun on the border lines. There...history is being re-written."

Sen hadn't spoken a word nor could she right then. her mind was reeling and the serious look of deep concentration showed just how much everything being said meant...not just to her but every fighting for the right of their homes and their lives.

"As you know...the war that granted Gaevor his reign has been the most dearest price we have ever had to pay and now, he will pay his dues as he should. It will be out turn to collect what little bit of our pride and strength that we have to turn Gaevor and his few truly loyal followers on their backs. Isthstaria has several inside dragons who she has 'un-converted' and, luckily for us all, the Magi Coven is letting it happen thanks to a 'loop hole' in Gaevor's rule. Sensilirosa and Robby I am asking you a great deal simply by telling you this and I have little right to ask for more but...I implore you to aid us in our march towards Gaevor's land. We'll be flying over the Uninhibited Lands and passing through the Humans territory so we might get to Gaevor and the battle before even a day has passed. To do this, we need your help to convince the non-magical creatures to listen to us and the dragons of the earth and of the sky, the water and the fire shall do the rest. Your deer, praise Isthstaria you thought to save it's life and to save it with a dragon's powers no less. That deer...might prove to be a winning player in this fierce game of lives. We'll have a dragon who can communicate through telepathy to speak to the deer and have it, in turn, speak to the animals. Word will spread like bird-song and despite being powerless, their mass numbers should help to through Gaevor off if by only a little...."

Leucetius finally turned to look at the two humans, peering into their eyes as deeply and surely as he was able. "Will you help us?"

Sen, of course, nodded once. It was a curt and decisive nod but it said everything without saying anything.

Crusher relaxed a bit when Magnus made no mention of others like him. Right now info could be his groups undoing. Only 10-12 of them, with the rebels keeping the main CO forces distracted it was a smiple matter to pick off CO's from such a large group. Should they had tried that before or when they where not fighting his group would have been captured and turned to a CO most likely. Crusher still said nothing though but stopped the narrowed eye look.

Vrashay and the rebels looked around after a while "Alright, finish off any still living CO and gather our wounded. I want us in our camp right away." he said. Supply's in this forest was low, it had suffered damage from before from what he could tell. But if you could lift a claw to strike then Vrashay was determined to patch you up so you could help at least defend. "And watch for those killers. I saw them at work again." he said. A few others nodded though honestly frightened to go behind rocks and bushes thanks to what they saw.

Crusher's group pulled out after the last of the CO's either retreated or died. The rebels had taken a hit though. Many where wounded. The fresh rebels where all injured from the CO ambush. But alive. Vrashay was not untouched him self. Marks along his sides and back where visible. But the rebels had fought off yet another attack. Though only 80 or so of them now, 40 of them roughly where injured and needed treatment. They needed more supply's.

Azmodius fidgeted under Crusher's gaze but didn't comment. "I will have to fly back before the battle is over. You see, they do not think about such things as the whereabouts of their comrades. As long as I return to Gaveor's land with them, it will be as though I never left," he explained, his expression turning to one of disgust. "Mindless zombies," he muttered under his breath. Another glance out of the pass showed the battle to be nearly through. Quickly he said, "I must return. Magnus, the time is coming for the overthrowing of Gaveor. Whether you follow this group," he nodded at Crusher, " or the resistance, remember what would've happened if I hadn't freed you. Only the souls trapped under Gaveor can destroy him. I hope you will help us." With that he leapt off the cliff and plummeted a few meters before unfurling his wings and flying towards the exit of the pass. "Fall back!" He roared at the remaining troops of converts. He wasn't in charge, but it was fairly obvious who was winning the battle. The converts, who were already in the process of retreat, picked up the pace and made a hasty retreat.

Magnus bowed his head in respect as Azmodius left. Upon hearing him yell 'Fall back!', Magnus watched over the edge, thinking over what Azmodius had said. For sure, he was going to help. The day his home was destroyed, the day his parents were killed, the memories were still as vivid as if they had happened yesterday, not fifty years ago. He wanted revenge. He wanted to see Gaevor brought down. And most of all, he wanted to see Enchantasia free again.

Magnus watched the remaining CO's fleeing. The group below was slowely gathering themselves again, and gradually things reverted back to normal. Magnus turned to Crusher.

'If this is fine by you, I shall be staying here. Undoubtedly, all of the Resistance will be notified of the coming war. Something tells me that it may not be long.'

Robby listened to the spiel of Leucetius. He knew the tale of Gaevor and Isthstaria, so this was not new. However, he was excited by the idea that Gaevor may not be leading for long. He felt a little jittery; this happened to him when he gets excited. However he calmed down to ask a favor in return.

"Yes. But, there is one thing." He knew that this would be the most he had spoken in a long time. "When Gaevor is taken down, and a new government is re-established, I want humans to be part of it, as equals, if even possible. I know this sounds like a lot, but I have heard tales of many years ago, when mankind had invented many devices. One that was a box that moved people and their luggage across long distances at incredible speeds! One was a bird made of metal, that flew through the air and could carry dozens of people even over the ocean! I have even heard that people had build tents out of metal, that could reach even a mile high! I want to start a project that could help us re-invent these kinds of marvelous design!" he explained, mind imagining the wonderful scenery. Suddenly, he felt for his mouth. He felt... strange... talking that much. He looked up at the dragon, with a little fear, realizing that he may have just asked for too much.

Crusher went to the edge and watched the CO's retreat. "Hmmm..... your friend forgot to get some marks to prove he fought." he muttered then looked at Magnus "As you already know nights in this area are cold. Far colder then the rest of the lands, your sure you don't want to be back at main cave for the nights?" he asked. A black dragon flew up to the cave seeing Crusher "The rebels are in bad need of supply's, should we see what we can do to restock them?" she asked. Crusher thought for a moment then nodded "Do so, they need all the help they can get to avoid dieing from injury." he said "But I'm not ready to show our group to them. Too early to actively show our selfs." he commented. The black nodded then flew off.

Magnus nodded and hurried off towards the direction of the main cave. Already the night air was beginning to chill. He saw out of the corner of his eye a black dragon talking to Crusher, and then fly away. Curse being unable to fly!, Magnus thought. He broke into a run, and jumped into the air. He beat his wings, feeling his injured one burning with pain, and quickly dropped to the ground, frustrated. How long until he could fly? At this rate, during the inevitable war against Gaevor, he may not be able to fly, and would have to use his hunting skills and ambush COs...

Crusher took off after Magnus after seeing him try to fly. He stayed to the ground to avoid further tempting him to the air. He caught up with Magnus as the cave came into view "Try to avoid air, our medic already told you yesterday to not fly." he said as they reached the cave.

A few of others where tending to 2 eggs near the back of the cave. The eggs where from a raid that had worked. The eggs had yet to be cursed by the magi coven. The eggs where given the top bedding they could find and a growling old female vamp was trying to keep them warm. she was not biting them at all.

Vrashay sighed "I know supply's are low, but treat the ones to keep them from dieing. The worse the wound the higher prioirty. Use everything as little as possible. Where winning each skirmish so far and need to keep doing so. Other wise where dead or turned." he explained "Take a scout party, see what you can find for supply's, and try to avoid those assassins. They seem to be on our side, we have yet to see there marks on any of our own."

Azmodius was once again at the center of the crowd of converts as they returned to the heart of Gaveor's land. Many were badly wounded and dying, yet they did not cry out. He watched, horror stricken, as a dragon pulled off a half broken scale and tossed it away. In it's place was an ugly looking gash. The ember dragon quickly looked away, dry heaving. The air around them was tense, as though something was about to happen. Might Gaveor punish them for failing? Converts slunk around quietly, not wanting to be the one their lord made an example of. Azmodius slipped off quietly to find Fidelria and tell her what he had seen. The assassins seemed to be helping the Resistance, which clearly needed all the help it could get. Perhaps she knew of them? He held his head high as though he belonged among these dragons and knew exactly what he was doing as he trooped deeper into the land.

Magnus sighed and kicked at the ground. He knew the Magi has told him not to try...but he so wanted to fly!

He entered the cave, where it definitly felt warmer than outside. Not meeting any of the other dragons' eyes, he slunk off to the spot he liked to call his own, hidden away at the back of the cave. With every passing second, his hate for Gaevor and his grief for all that he had lost grew bigger and bigger. Eventually he had to let it out, but preferred to do it quietly, by himself. He curled up on the rock there, fingering the tooth around his neck, trying to keep back the tears that were slowely forcing their way out. Eventually he turned his back to the other dragons, not even trying to hold it in any more.

((Aye, this is reflecting my mood at the moment...just another of those days that happen very regularly for me :3))

Jason looked up to see Magnus coming into the cave. He did not think of it much as Magnus seemed to be part of the group sort of. He had not left for the resistance lands so....

Anyway Magnus was visibly not ok. He got up and went over to him. "Magnus? You alright?" Jason asked quietly "anything you want to talk about?" he asked.

Crusher took up his spot near the front of the cave as the 'door' was put into place for the night. Keep in the cool heat and the freezing cold out. Supply's where being gathered for travel for tomorrow. Herbs, berries the works. The magi was not too pleased about half of his supply going but he agreed to it.

Magnus immediatly got a grip on himself as he heard Jason. He quickly flicked the back of a talon over a stray tear, before replying, without even turning.

'I'm fine, thank you.'

It came out a bit sharper than he expected, and he was angry at himself for revealing his weak side. After a pause, he took a deep breath and let it out, albeit a bit shakily. Then he turned, looking into Jason's eyes. He then looked down, tracing a claw over ridges and marks in the rock, before answering.

'Actually, I'm not fine.' He said it quietly, not wanting other dragons to hear. 'I just keep thinking about this...this...ruin our world is in.' He stammered slightly, trying to arrange words into understandable sentences. 'And all the lives that have either been lost or ruined...I can't stop thinking about them...' He slowed down. 'My parents. I saw them being slaughtered, by Gaevor's army.' He shook his head and looked at Jason again. 'You probably think of this as being weak. I think that...' He looked down again and lifted the tooth up on one claw before letting it slide off.

Jason shook his head "Its not you being weak, that's not weakness. Your just like the rest of us here. We all suffered at his hand, all lost something dear, tired of seeing death." he said looking at the cave entrance "We may not be part of the resistence, But we share the same foe as the resistance." he said

A few others heard Jason and saw Magnus looking down, they came over and sat down beside him. A female black blinked at him "He's right, I used to have a family, 6 hatchlings, wonderful mate, all taken away by that fool." she said, another dragon, a marrow also nodded "Used to have a home, a place that had grown to trust me, friends, the life, until our common foe came." he said "You'll get your share of revenge, we all will." he said.

Crusher noticed a small group forming around Magnus and went over. He heard what they where all saying. One at time would say what they had lost, all seemingly trying to help Magnus. He remained at the back of the group. He just nodded as the others spoke.

After more less the whole group had said what they came to say Jason spoke again "Your not showing weakness, your stronger then you would have been if you had not. Emotion when held in can be ones undoing. And no strong dragon put such danger on him self." he finished off.
