((Try and post your Form in the OOC and I would be more than happy to look it over. Literacy is a rare issue here, as long as you put in the effort and seriously try to roleplay, you're more than welcome. Yes, spelling and grammar are a plus but I'm pretty lenient. As for thegreenrobby, he's co-owner of this roleplay, his word is as good as mine, so if he'll no doubt look at your form too. ^^))

((Yeesh, and I thought my character was a silent type.))

"Spear," he heard her say. Robby sat on that thought for a moment. What could she mean by that? He turned around and grabbed the spear from the tree trunk and picked up a stone. He tied the stone in a monkey's fist-like knot, leaving it dangling off the back of the spear. It now had extra weight, and, if he tried to swing it, it swiveled loosely. It could double as a club, or something along the lines. He didn't know what she could want with it, if she wanted it at all, so he stood a pace in fron of her and stuck the sharp end into the ground. He held the back-top of it casually, to prevent it from falling over. He didn't know what to expect, if she just wanted to see it, or use it, or she just meant something else entirely, so he just stood there, somewhat awkwardly.

Sensilirosa let her hand fall to her side as she watched him tie the rock on, her expression hardly changed, though at some point she gave him something close to 'incredulous'.

After the boy stuck it into the ground Sen stepped forward and wrenched it from the earth with a careful thrust backwards, taking it from under his hand. She lifted it horizontally, measuring it's quality and the fineness of the wood from which it had been carved. It was well balanced apart from the stone he'd added for additional weight; Sen untied it and let it thump to the forest floor.

Lifting the spear over her shoulder, parallel to the ground, she stretched her arm back and adjusted her aim for the light weight. In one instant the spear was released from her grasp and the next, she was recoiling her arm to watch it fly through the air. It nestled into the breast of a passing bird and fell in mid air with it's prize well-fitted to the spear's tooth. She moved to it, picked it up and handed it to him, the bird still stuck to it, oozing blood and twitching occasionally in it's final death throws.

Behind her, the deer cried for her and she went to it to calm it once again, it had become stirred by the sight of the spear and was anxious for it's life in it's poor condition.

(Showoff.)

Robby gave her one of his unique looks. One that displayed shock, amazement, and 'Creeped out' all at once. He didn't like how she removed the stone, so he tied it back on. Setting the bird aside, he decided to try to hunt the way she did. Simply by the different way she threw it, he thought makes her hunting great. Maybe I can do that myself. A third rabbit caught his eye. It must be their mating season! I'm seeing them pop up like, well, rabbits! He balanced out the spear, then stretched back and hurled it. It flew much more dynamically, and effortlessly pinned the rabbit to a tree by its leg, somehow, not killing it. He walked up to see it trying to struggle away from the spear, but it couldn't do it. He could either let the creature die of blood loss on it's own, or I could pick up the spear and hit it. He chose the latter option, and temporarily freed it. It could hardly go anywhere because of it's injuries, so he simply walked up to the hardly moving rabbit and grabbed his spear by the tip end. He twirled it around like a sling, and had the rock in the middle crack into the skull. The splattered gorefest he left with only the body of the rabbit.

He turned back and smiled at the woman, before proceeding to make a fire to cook his token of newfound hunting knowledge.

She watched him, her bright eyes following his movements, silently praising his change in stance though it was slightly off balance still do to his need to add the rock. It proved it's use as a cub when he swung it down and hit square on it's mark. She wondered idly if he'd be batter using a rock sling than a spear. Sensilirosa was good with using nature as her weapon, she'd had plenty of years to learn after all.

At the sound of the rabbit's cries and the rough echo of the skull being obliterated, the deer shuffled closer to Sen's lap where it was embraced by her gentle caress as it started to panic. Wrapping her arms around it, one coming around it's chest to lay a hand on it's outward shoulder and the other coming around it's back so she could pet it's length. It calmed down and watched the boy prepare the fire; as did Sen.

His preparations appeared clumsy to her, perhaps because he was so much younger than herself but as she watched her eyes drifted to the rabbit carcass which lay untouched while he bustled about. Sen stood, shifting the deer to the side of her lap, and walked to the rabbit picking up it's meager proportion. It wasn't too skinny but nor was it particularly plump and having decided to stick around the boy for some odd reason she thought she aught to catch more. She gripped the rabbit by it's rear ankles and laid it's body stretched on the earth. From there she gripped it's throat and pulled out her dragon's tooth dagger, cutting perfect incisions on it's breast, belly and thighs. Peeling away the skin she fully stripped it and began to take out the innards, plopping them to the side with wet, disgusting sounds. She might have gagged were she not used to it already.

Her hands were bloodied and dripping of guts and sticky with fluids she'd rather not identify. Dropping her hands to her side she looked to the boy. "I'll hunt more." She said and walked off, as she left the deer's view it grew silent, suddenly very afraid. Sen walked back somehow reappearing noiselessly on the other side of the boy. "Leave the deer alone." And then she was gone to hunt more.

((Yes, I suppose she is but I promise she meant it to be instructive not any kind of abuse of pride x.x))

((I already put down my post...I'll type it over anyways. *shrug*))

Wendy sat down and introduced herself, "Nice to meet you Tsuni. I'm Wendy. And it seems our parents were killed in Gaevor's war." She looked at the Holly berries in Tsuni's hand. "It seems nice that you have something that reminds you of your parents Tsuni. I have one of my parent's scales around my neck." Wendy lifted up her head to show her a necklace of vines, with 2 small, white scales. "Not the most impressive thing in the world, I've seen better things used than vines, and more scales hung on, but it's something special, like your berries." She smiled, seeing some common things between the two of them.

((Oh censor kipz...))

Tsuni smiled."Holly berries aren't most impressive either. Since they're poisonous." She said."Have you heard of Istharias?" If she does, then maybe she can help me free her! Tsuni looked up at the dark sky. Even though Gaevor had never touched this land, it was like he did. Tsuni picked some berries. "Want some?" She said gesturing to her paw. She ate one."A necklace isn't that bad. I only managed to pick the holly off my parents when they died." She said.

"Sure." Wendy replied, then, she picked a berry from the sane bush. "Have you heard of Istharias?" Tsuni asked to Wendy. Wendy thought at it for a moment. "Istharias? I've never heard of Istharias. Wait, maybe she's talking about Isthstaria, Gaevor's sister." She then looked back at Tsuni and replied, "I've never heard of Istharias. But I have heard of a Guardian of Nature named Isthstaria. When I was still in my clan, they talked about the wonderful ruler Isthstaria, how she took care of the land, and that she was one of the most beautiful dragons in this land. I've never seen her myself, but I bet she's very pretty." Wendy looked up at the darkening sky. "I wish Isthataria was free. Not just for the animals, dragons, and beings right now, but for the future generations. If it stayed like this forever, the future dragons, animals, and beings will never see the bright sun and moon."

"Oh I can never say it right. " Tsuni said, her head drooping. "My parents always told me how good Isthstaria was. The moment our messenger came they ran off for war. Then, I went looking for them because they hadn't been home for days. When I arrived, I was past the forest. I was somewhere I never was. And then, I saw it. My parents. They were long dead. I picked the two holly off them. And then I ran back. And now, I wanna kill Gaevor. But he'd probably say something like,"You can't best me. Your just a hatchling!" and then he would probably laugh at me. I want more dragons to help." Tsuni said fast. She hoped Wendy would understand. She was a healer! She looked at Wendy."We need to save Isthstaria. Or else well run out of food soon." Tsuni said with a determined look.

((I mean no offensiveness, Chasilin, but I think your character is going towards the realm of Mary-sues. Can you please tone it down a bit? Or, at the very least, not make my character seem klutzy and amateurish by comparison? [i'm actually OK if you do that for A Prison For Hatchlings, though, as that it my character biggrin.gif]))

He turned around to hear the words of the woman, as she left for hunting more food. He had also noticed that she had skinned and gutted the rabbit. He should thank her for that, later. He looked over to the dear, resting fearfully in the corner.

"Sorry," he muttered.

Turning back, he decided to make a spigot for the meat to roast. He pulled three more branches from a nearby tree, and took a sharpish nearby rock. He drove the rock into the thick ends of two of the branches, splitting them into a fair 'Y' shape. He drove the two into the ground on opposite sides of the rolling fire, and balanced the remaining one on the crevices. If he wanted to cook food, he would simply drive a piece of meat through the stick, and turn it. He did that with two of main breastpieces; one for Robby, and the other for his new friend.

((Sure, I don't mind, just remember the age difference is all...I mean for my character to have more experience in survival but anything else she's pretty poor at. -like having any kind of social skills or manners.......you'll see in a bit-))

Sensilirosa had nothing but her dragon fang dagger on her but that was alright. Crouching low to the ground in a rather crude way she began to move on all fores, dagger clamped between her teeth to silence her breath. As she moved hardly a sound was made, her weight carefully distributed between each of her limbs and leveled carefully on the ground so that any complaint from a leaf would be muffled entirely.

Soon she saw another rabbit, it was thin and gangly with awkwardly long ears and clumsy hops. Sensilirosa ignored it and moved on, killing something before it even had a chance to grow into it's self wasn't very fair. With the season being sometime in the early spring, rabbits were mating like rabbits and their numbers were abundant. Several crossed her path but none were old enough to kill. So, still, she crept through the forest, moving like and animal , her legs bent and back arched forward low to the ground, her arms were not always on the ground but were sometimes used for balance and for passing trees.

Finally, a lone rabbit, fat and lazy was gayly devouring some leafy greens, it's small jaws working in fast little circles, nose twitching all the while. Sen grew very still, only moving when she was sure the wind was in her favor before daring to get closer to the rabbit. A twig snapped by the untimely entrance of another animal and the fat rabbit jumped up, startled. It's ears twisted each and every way and it was a full 5 minutes before it resumed it's meal, it's last.

Sen jumped from her spot as gracefully as a leopard, her pink hair streaking behind her and in seconds she was on the rabbit, her breast crushing it down to the ground while she reached forward to grip it's ears, taking her dagger cleanly to it's throat. It gurgled and kicked and fought her surprisingly well for such a fat thing but it eventually died, drowning on it's own blood and the lack of air. Lifting it up from the ground as she stood she knotted it's ears to her belt using some horse hair and went off to find another prey.

By the time she returned to the boy he'd long since put the meat on a spit and turned their skins dark over his fire. Sen praised his work and untied the three rabbits she'd caught, one the fat one and two others slightly thin but well muscled enough to eat. She slapped them onto the ground and left them for the boy to skin if it pleased him. She took what she assumed to be her portion and bit into it savagely, not having any sense of decency in her disgraceful eating habit.

Wendy listened to Tsuni's story. When Tsuni was done, she talked about wanting to beat Gaevor. "Hm...beating Gaevor. I'm not sure two hatchlings alone can do it, but I'll join." Wendy thought to herself. "I'll be willing to join! But I don't think two hatchlings can save the day. We need more dragons...or maybe..." Wendy cut off her speaking to face the direction of a human clan. "It's a long shot, but maybe the things that walk on two legs can help? I can never remember their names though." She said to Tsuni.

"Oh, you mean the hau-mans? " Tsuni said. "I don't know... They might try and capture us or something. Why don't we just try and find them in the forest?" she suggested. She grabbed Wendy's hand and ran farther into the forest."They might help us. My mom said most humans in the forest are nice and are " One with Nature"

Wendy followed Tsuni into the forest, excited about what's happening. "I remembered a brown object going by really fast through the forest. Is that a sign of a hauman?" Wendy asked Tsuni, while still following her lead. "Cause if it is a sign, we're heading in the right direction." She added on.

"You mean.. A stick? With a rock on the end? Oh yeah! They use those.... I don't know what you call it. But, hey! What are those figures?" Tsuni said. She saw two shaded figures.(Sensilrosa and Robby) "Uhh.. A? A.. Dear?" she said looking at the deer. "Hey, I think we're here." she said.

Wendy looked at the two shaded figures, one was taller than the other. She whispered to Tsuni, "Do you know if they can understand us? We're dragons and their haumans." Wendy then looked at the deer, with a white strip on it's leg. "Maybe the deer was hurt and they healed it? Humans could be helpful after all!" She thought to herself.

"I don't know... Lets hope..." Tsuni said. She walked up to Sensilrosa and Robby."Hi?" She said. It was very high-pitched. Sensilrosa looked more... Mature to Tsuni. She motioned Wendy to move up too.

Wendy stepped up shyly. "Hello there." She looked at the humans towering over them. Wendy then looked at their campfire and their three rabbits on the ground. "How...how are you today?" Wendy asked them, trying to be as friendly as possible.

Magnus woke up, feeling the sun beating down on him. Glancing at the sky he saw it was almost noon. He'd slept in again! He yawned, stretched and climbed off the rock. Ever since he had that flashback, he had been sleeping worse and worse. He could remember every vivid detail; the screams of terrified hatchlings, the fire, the sounds of the battle around him, the cruelly killed bodies of the brave dragons trying to protect their homes and family, and amidst all that, he remember seeing his parents killed, both stabbed in the chest and falling out of the sky onto the burning ground below. He remembered it clearly, the terror, the horror of it. The War.

Magnus shook his head. Now was not the time to think about that! It had happened, nothing more could be done. The goal now was to survive. Yawning again, he picked up his daggers and slipped them into their makeshift 'sheaths'. He walked off into the forest, hunting for what he hoped could be a change from his normal diet of rabbits. But after half an hour of hunting, he had found nothing but rabbits. They would have to do, again. Hiding behind a tree, he watched for one.

He didn't have to wait long. A large rabbit loped across his path, but Magnus did not leap for it. Instead, he followed it. Slowly and cautiously, so as not to scare it, he followed the rabbit to its warren, which it entered. Magnus looked at the hole. It was the perfect hole. Dug into a small mound of soil, it was not facing upwards. Perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Magnus quietly walked onto the mound, and crouched, swiftly snatching one of his daggers. He held it, poised, in both hands, above where a rabbit should come out soon. He didn't have to wait long. A large rabbit, possibly the one he followed, loped out of the hole. Magnus saw in a split second it was a perfect one, not too thin, and decently old enough to catch. He lunged forward, slamming his dagger down into the rabbit's neck. The ground turned red with blood around the rabbit, and it gave one shriek before lying still. Magnus held down the still body and wrenched the dagger out of its neck, picked it up by the hind legs, and walked further into the forest to eat it.

((Great.

Neither Robby nor Sensilrosa speak much. Imagine the awkwardness.))

Robby was enjoying his rabbit meat, when two, small figures emerged from the corner of his eye. He quickly turned to them, ready to pick up his spear if they posed any threat. They were dragons. They could easily pose a threat, but they had no intention on showing it. They came up shyly. And they spoke!

"Hello there."

Robby did a double take. He had no idea dragons spoke. Then again, he rarely ever was in the presence of one.

"Hey," he muttered, shyly.
