Hello and welcome! You've probably seen the term Tinselfail used to describe non-Tinsel dragons with Tinsel parents. You may have even seen dragons with Tinsel ancestors described as Tinselkin. If you're anything like me, you love these little "accidents" despite the lack of sparkle on their eggshells and hoard them anyway. This lineage project is designed to give these precious ones the attention they deserve!

So you know what a Tinselfail is and what a Tinselkin is. But what, you might be asking, is a TinselWIN? Well, it's quite simple actually! In this project we will breed two 2G Tinselfails together to produce a 3G Tinselkin... a TinselWIN. That dragon will be bred with a qualifying 3G Tinselfail to produce a 4G TinselWIN and so on and so forth.

Freezing, killing, or trading dragons gifted in this thread is prohibited. If you are offered an egg you don't have room for please inform the gifter that you do not have space instead of making them hold it. If you suddenly find yourself needing an egg-slot for whatever reason, please attempt to give the egg to one of the other project members here before abandoning it.
You must display your scroll name on your dragons' pages via account settings before joining.
All TinselWINs should have "win" somewhere in their names. Your Tinselfails can be named whatever, so long as they are named.
TinselWINs mate for life, meaning that the mate chosen for it should be the only dragon that it is bred with. Naturally refusals allow for exceptions. PM a thread mod to report a refusal.
Please restrict claim links to PM's. Posting them here may result in someone outside the project intercepting the dragon.
Do not use red or green font colors. These are for moderator use only.

This is a family project and as such all the lines in this project will originate from the same pair of dragons. We are currently only accepting Tinselfails from two-breed stairsteps. We may expand upon Tinselfails from even-gens/spirals as well as add more original breeding pairs in the future depending on how popular this project becomes. For now, though, this is the sole breeding pair:

Once a TinselWIN has matured on your scroll, you must announce it and declare a permanent Tinselfail mate of the same gen for it. If you have any questions regarding the procedures of this project feel free to ask!

You can sign up to be gifted a TinselWIN from any generations we have available to breed with a Tinselfail of the same generation from a two-breed stairstep. If you don't have any Tinselfails, I'd be happy to keep an eye out for you. ^.^ Also DragonLilly, what you have isn't a TinselWIN. It's a Tinselfail, but once you breed it with a TinselWIN the offspring will be considered TinselWINs. It would be a perfect mate for a 3G TinselWIN which I should be able to breed and gift to you whenever you have egg space on your scroll. Let me know! DragonLilly and Mikki, I have added you guys to the member list. Welcome to the TinselWIN project and thanks being the first two to join!

Now to do a little updating. 4G Vanessa Valdewin: female Horse Sinrise Dawnfail: Living In Sin (iWin) x Sunset I tried breeding her with him, but they refused so a different mate needed choosing. e.e These two won't look bad together, though. ^.^ The Sunsets and Horses complement each other, I think.
